Rocks, Rocks, Rocks!

We started talking about rocks this week. We are going to learn about properties of rocks. We will also discover fast and slow changes to the earth. We took a 'Rock Walk' so that each student has their own set of rocks to study. The students were to find 6 rocks - 1. a smooth rock, 2. a rock with two colors, 3. a rock with three colors, 4. a shiny rock, 5. a bumpy rock, and 6. a beautiful rock.
